Last Part of School

The last half of the week was busy with...homework. As part of our final project, a 15 minute presentation and essay were required. I have never done a Spanish presentation for that long! So in between all of the fun, it was necessary to stay home and hit the books. Of course, we found time to have fun, namely at the delish crepe place we discovered. Below is my sandwich and cappuccino.

Eating, talking, the normal socializing.

Yes, enjoy the beauty of Maureen's crepe (it was her birthday!)

That night, we had a group dinner at the amazing pizza place. It was part birthday celebration, part group togtherness.

Maureen with her yummy yummy cake!

Below is me, Anna, Kelsey and Maureen. We are part of the Sabanilla neighborhood crowd =sharing the bus.

Andrew was doing is homework at dinner, since our essays were due the next day. What dedication.

Not having rice and beans = YES!

About to blow out the candles...yay for 22!

On Thursday, we went once again to the delish soda. Huevos Rancheros- yummy yummy! And of course, rice and beans.

Chowing down.

After school, Sarah, Jake and I went to University of Costa Rica to enjoy the beautiful day. The campus is full of cool architecture and art.

I think this sums up Costa Rica very well. They are VERY comfortable with PDA in Costa Rica. It was kind of awkward at times (especially when I sat behind a couple on the bus once who were quite kissy/touchy).

Jake and I enjoying the sun.

The school even had an environmental habitat! It was pretty.

On the way home, I noticed this sign. Even Jehovah Witnesses exist in the extremely Catholic state!

This ended the graded part of school, but we still had one more day...
