El domingo en el parque con Jorge
It was a El domingo en el parque con Jorge Sunday in the park with George kind of day as we headed to los bosques de Palermo the Palermo forests. We decided to go to El Rosedal the rose garden. NYT recommended it for their 36 hours in Buenos Aires. The garden was absolutely gorgeous. The landscaping was impeccable, and there were trellises, fountains, benches, and of course, hundreds of roses. We walked around, enjoying the brief escape from the land of concrete. Unfortunately we could not sit on the grass. There was also a small lake with paddle boats. Though not sunny, it was a picturesque day (because it was extremely hot). I will have to say, though quite beautiful, I am not sure if it compares to Portland's Rose Garden Mt.
